Getting Started using the Classifieds

& Tips for Good Ads

HOW TO GET STARTED

As this is a new feature created in response to the Ban of all Animal sales on FB, I ask you to bear with us, as we go through some growing pains....

I will be making changes as needed to get this section running smoothly.

Please feel free to PM me with questions or concerns. Thank you ~Admin~

Getting into the Classifieds.

Start by Choosing the "CLASSIFIED ADS" right at the top of your page.

Once you've read through the rules & guidelines, and if you accept them,

CLICK on the photo link to the Classifieds Section.

You will be prompted to Sign up or Sign in.

You can log in with your FB profile for ease of joining.

The first time you sign in, you will have to wait to be accepted.

Once you've signed in, you will be in the CLASSIFIEDS SECTION.

This Classifieds Section, is not a group or community forum like you would know and expect from Facebook, because this is NOT Facebook.

It is merely a forum for Classified Ads only.

CREATE YOUR POST

Now that you are in your chosen Category

(Eggs & Hatching Eggs used for Sample)

CLICK on "Create new post"

Add your personal information to create your post.

We would like you to follow the sample we've given in regards to "What" goes "where" in your ad.

(Feel free to copy & paste the sample template to your own post & edit it as you need)

All ads must contain the required information or you will be asked to edit it (wasting your time & mine)

We would like you to stick to 1 photo or 1 pre-made montage of photos at this time, as we have no control over the size of the photo currently, and it just takes too much space.

Hopefully this will clear up any problems members have been undergoing with the launch of this new Classified Ad Forum.

Bear with me as we continue to make this work for everyone. Thank you. ~Admin~

OOPS!!!! (Adding photos can split your text. So, make sure your cursor is at the bottom, underneath your last line of text to add your photos, or you will have words underneath the photo)

Make a "Go To" POST on FB

To direct FB traffic to your new post without showing that you are selling an "ANIMAL" we suggest creating a Brag Book post.

See the Sample Screen Shots for what to possibly say on  your Facebook post.

Keep it simple & don't put the link on the post. We'll all figure it out soon enough...

Using "MARKETPLACE" aka. the "Sell Something" Feature...

 JUST DON'T USE IT!!!

No matter how you word it, the post still looks like you are selling.

AND.... It links back to the FB Marketplace.

People searching for "Animal Sales" to report, find them there first.

SO... PLEASE DO NOT the "Sell Something Feature"

Use the "Start Discussion" or "Write Post" Feature  as it looks even less like selling...

Using the "Start Discussion" or "Write Post" Feature...

Any simple write up that does not mention "Selling" your animal.

Just remember to mention you have more information on the "Network Website"  your own "LIKE Page" or "Personal Website"
