WELCOME MESSAGE - Basic Rules
This SALES Page was created for all hobby farmers to buy, sell, trade & barter their Farm Animals in a safe location & manner, in response to a FB ban on all animal sales.... (please see the petition linked through this page & sign it)
We don't have a lot of rules at this time, and try to follow a common sense policy. (More rules may be added as needed)
Please keep all posts positive, negative posts will be removed. Stay polite and courteous to other members, regardless of difference of opinion. Insults and bullying will not be tolerated and members will be banned...
NO PETS! This should be obvious....
We will allow working dogs & cats for barns only. This is NOT a Pet store...
The only dogs allowed on this site will be LGD's Livestock guardian dogs and some breeds of Herding dogs that are actively being used for farm work, in accordance with their respective lists on Wikipedia. If your dog is not one of these breeds, it will not be allowed. Admin/Moderators reserve the right to allow or disallow dog posts not meeting the requirements.
While we DO NOT have any issue with members posting animals formerly purchased from auction, we DO however have a problem with members HIDING that knowledge. Therefore, All ads of animals that have previously gone through any auctions, must have it disclosed openly in the description. Members caught NOT disclosing this fact, may lose membership privileges.

No personal fundraisers... No solicitation for funds of any kind!!! (Go Fund Me, etc...)

Registration rules and guidelines.
BC Backyard Poultry & Hobby Farming Network was created as a place to Network your farms & related business ventures. This has expanded to include a safe place to buy & sell your livestock as well. We want to keep a family friendly, fun & safe environment for all members to enjoy.
1. You are responsible for observing the registration agreement to which you agreed when you joined.
2. Farm Animals ONLY at this time.
3. Please make all sales posts, comments and PMs constructive, polite, courteous, respectful and on topic. Members making rude posts, comments & behavior will lose membership privileges. Never use profanity.
4. Start new Posts on the appropriate Animal Forum Page. Duplicate posts will be removed without notice. Remove your posts when a transaction has been completed. (BUY OR SELL) Members who continually "forget to remove" their finished posts may lose membership privileges...
5. No spam! These posts will be deleted without any warning. Spam can be either posting multiple times regarding the same item or creating multiple topics regarding the same subject. Spamming can also be posting off topic subjects that have little to do with our Farming related Network...
6. Do not post any other member's real life information like last name, address, phone number or email address without their permission. Sales must be your own ONLY.
7. Moderators reserve the right to move, remove or edit inappropriate post or comments. When possible we will make a note when this has been done. Respect the moderators and their decisions. Follow their instructions without argument.
8. If you have a question about the rules or their interpretation, PM a moderator. Also to Report a post, Please PM Admin/Moderators.
9. Thank you to those who report posts needing moderator attention. Your attention improves the quality of the forums. If you are unsure whether a post, private message or email should be reported, report it anyway; the moderators will decide whether action needs to be taken.
10. If you are reporting a thread, please provide a link to the previous thread. After reporting an offending post, avoid replying to it, so you don't give it more exposure or make more work for the moderators.
If BCBY rules are not followed, the admins/moderators reserve the right to use their judgement as to how they deal with the offence. We reserve the right to modify, change, add to or delete any of these rules when and if necessary, without prior notice.
